The Alpha Plus range combines the high solar rejection of metallized films with the subtle shading of deep-dyed polyester, effectively reducing heat build up, UV radiation and glare for stylish cabin comfort.
But the protection doesn’t stop with high solar energy rejection – Alpha Plus Safe also helps protect occupants from the dangers of broken glass. By firmly securing broken glass shards to the sturdy security laminate, 4 mil Alpha Plus Safe makes vehicle glass safer in accidents, reducing the chance of injury.
Alpha Plus Safe also makes the vehicle more resistant to violent crime, impeding smash and grab, and adding the vital seconds that deter carjackers. “Maybe it’s a sign of the times that we’ve had so many requests to integrate Hanita safety film into our Automotive line,” comments Yochi Solna, who heads Hanita’s window film division, “For Hanita, much of the challenge lay in creating a safety film that was as installation friendly as the basic Alpha Plus line, which has terrific shrink and flex. 4 mil is trickier to install, but the result is impressive.”
The Alpha Plus range is available in five shades of graphite, from a light 50% to a discreet 05% VLT.
